With a 225-amp, 3,500-watt output rating and 12V compatibility, it delivers 2 to 3x faster charge times compared to OEM units, enabling outboard boaters to run stabilizers, air conditioning, inverters, trolling motors, refrigeration, premium audio, water and ice makers, and large lithium house battery banks without depending on a gas-powered generator.
As part of the ARCO Zeus High Energy Collection, the A225ob is designed with one central goal: helping boaters build a more capable onboard power system. That means faster lithium battery charging, reduced reliance on generators, and more freedom to run modern equipment away from shore power. With a cut-in RPM of just 1,288 and a sustained idle output of 157 amps at 1,000 engine RPM, it keeps charging across the full range of real-world outboard operating conditions, not just at wide-open throttle.
